Welcome to Columbus, Ohio!
My name is Jean Hayward, "The Tour Lady," and I can't wait to show you Ohio's capital city
News, News, Important News!
You probably know how much
I love presenting my tour entitled, "The Civil War comes to Columbus." I have recently returned from Gettysburg,
PA, where my family & I traced the footsteps of those brave soldiers who fought against the other, both of whom felt they
were "right." Gettysburg, PA, is a small town even today, but it was entirely "run over" by visitors
attending the many, many ceremonies recognizing the 150th observation anniversary of that epic battle. I have returned
to Columbus quite eager to be an even better, more passionate guide during my own tour here in Columbus. I hope you
will consider attending one of these tours, too. For this tour, I will need 4 persons minimum for my private tour, or
I will "step-on" your tour bus in any amount and whisk you around the city as we see what was happening in Columbus
during the years of 1861-1865. Won't you join me?
By the way, I know Columbus is not Paris, New York or London. Good....we don't have as
much pollution, crime, or high prices as the really big metropolises, but this little gem of a city does have a
lot to offer. What would you like to see? What would you like to do? How
about an overview of this city waiting to warmly welcome its many visitors? We can show it all--spectacular landscapes,
spiritual heritage churches, fascinating Mid-West history, amazing architecture, relaxing tearoom tours, and yes, we've become
a foodie town!
Capital City Tours has been regaling visitors and locals
alike for 15 years with extensive knowledge, jaw-dropping insight, and side splitting anecdotes that will keep you at
the edge of your seats! Even "doubters" have been seen with a smile on their face at the end of these tours!
Call us today at 614-326-0942 to discuss your choice and desire...we'll get you there.
To be the "go-to tour guide" for
